CHILLI TUNA Itz real yummy... Can be served warm with any bread variety or can be used as a side dish for lunch.. Itz very gud for those who r eatin fish 4 d first tym n also for those who wish to eat fish for itz goodness but hate d stale smell of fish... I bet U wont evn know itz fish until sme 1 tells u... Ingredients: Tuna (tin fish) – 1 small tin Shallots( kochulli) – ½ cup cut Onion – 1 medium diced Green chilly – 4 halved Tomato – 1 small sliced Garlic – 1 tsp chopped Ginger – ½ tsp chopped Turmeric pwdr – ¼ tsp Pepper pwdr – ¼ tsp Saunf(perunjeerakam) pwdr – ¼ tsp Cardamom pwdr – ¼ tsp Garam masala – ¼ tsp Mustard seeds – ¼ tsp salt Oil – 2 tbsp Coriander leaves - chopped Method: Heat oil in a pan. Splutter mustard. Sauté ginger garlic. Add shallots n sauté. When they become translucent, add onion n salt n sauté well. Add green chilly.When onion starts getting brown, add spices n sauté. Drain off oil from tin fish.( I hate that smell n taste of tht oil. Thts y i drain it off. I drain it with alittle water too to completely get rid off fish smell.) Add this to pan. Do not sauté too much as fish flakes will get messy. Slightly mix in. Add tomatoes n very little water. Cover and cook for some time. When all water starts drying, slowly mix by turning over from bottom until itz almost dry. Garnish with coriander leaves . Can be served with any bread variety or can be used as a side dish for lunch.. NB: be careful of the amount of salt u add as the tin fish comes in salted oil . by.......jamshi
