CHLID WITH FREQUENT HEADACHES: Advice appreciated. Grace is almost 7. spastic diplegic cp. no seizures to date. recently, she has been getting frequent headaches. pretty much daily. motrin or Tylenol seems to help. at least until the next one comes. well, she has one now again, and is in tears. her head also feels slightly feverish but she is telling me shes cold. its 80* out and she wants the AC off. I have given her motrin and shes tying to fall asleep as im typing this sitting beside her. I am worried. im praying its not the start of something else. do seizures that accompany cp cause headaches? I just dont know If I should take her to the ER, or see if the motrin will work...I just dont know. this is like the 4th one in a week. I didnt think it was normal for a child to have such frequent headaches.(I myself suffer with chronic and debilitating frequent migraines) so I cant stand to see her having bad headaches. any advice or info would be more then appreciated right now. thanks a million.
