CHQ President Com G. L. Jogi has addressed a huge gathering of SNEA, BGTD at the conference hall of PGM Office, Bangalore on 20.10.2014. Our CHQ leader emphasized the need of the BSNL Executives and non executives to focus on the viabilities of the company and the adverse impacts of the formation of BBNL-its aim at giving services as an ISP, adverse effects of implementation of the Deloitte recommendations, non refund of the Rs.6500 Crores of the BWA spectrum by Government, absence of any new projects to counter the 4G services, Reliance JIOs massive 4G networks expansion, Non availability of the regular CMD, Director Finance and Director HR for BSNL. The total absence of the HR policies in BSNL, total demoralization of the young BSNL recruited JTOs, non resolution of the basic HR issues. The address was an eye opener for the members of SNEA to update themselves and get ready for the future struggles. Com Pandurang Nayak AGS spoke and explained on the need of the unity of the executives especially our young executives of BSNL so that our basic demands of Standard pay scale, 30% superannuation benefits can be forced on the management for early settlement and its implementation. Com W Seshagiri Rao, Veteran leader and founder of SNEA appealed the members to work towards the growth of the company. Com K Ashok Rao, President NCOA was kind enough to address us on this occasion with a short notice. Com S B Nagavi, Circle Secretary brought to the notice of the audience that it is only BSNL which could give services to the citizens of the country in the circumstances of the natural calamities. Even in the recent HUD HUD, Hon CM of AP Shri Chandrababu Naidu, appreciated the Executives and Employees of BSNL/ AP for their tremendous efforts in restoring the telecom services within shortest time. Private operators are here to invest and earn profit but BSNL has its social commitment. Com Y B Thippesh Ex GS/AIGETOA, Com R C Vasant Kumar Ex CS/AIGETOA Karnataka, Com Santosh Gowda Ex AGS/AIGETOA and Ex CS/AIGETOA Punjab, Com Rajkumar and all their followers have joined this mighty organization in the presence of our CHQ President Com G L Jogi. Com Thippesh in his address declared that he along with many of his friends in Bangalore have joined SNEA to strengthen an organization which is fighting for the upliftment of the basic executive cadre (JTO). He has acknowledged the motivation and the support he received by Com Jogi, when he was moving with him in the United Forum of Executives while finalizing the BSNL MSRR and will feel proud of working under the umbrella of SNEA. Com B Ramesh, DS/ BGTD welcomed the gathering. Meeting at Kolar on 21-10-2014: The General Body Meeting of the SNEA Kolar was held at Kolar. Com G L Jogi, our beloved CHQ President attended the GB. The young comrades of Kolar SNEA welcomed the leaders. In the AGB Com Jogi, in his address elaborated the successes of this organization and the road map that we have prepared right now. The need of settling the issues like standard Pay Scales, the anomaly of wages w.r.to 2007 and 2008 batches, 30% superannuation benefits to BSNL recruited Executives as well as the non- executives. He has made it clear that today we are focusing on these major issues and if needed we will launch the next phase of our agitation very shortly and appealed the members to get strongly prepared for the struggle. The other issues like regularization of the TTA officiating JTOs and other cadre issues were discussed in the meeting. Com Pandurang Nayak AGS has narrated the need of the polarization of the Executives into a single association which truly fight for the demands of JTOs, their social welfare and security even after retirement. This is truly proved in case of the DOT absorbees by one and only association that is SNEA. It is only SNEA which struggles at their work centers like BSNLCO, Circle Office and SSA headquarters and not at JANTAR MANTAR. Com Thippesh, once again re-affirmed his views as to why he is now joining SNEA and appreciated all Kolar comrades for re-building the organization in Kolar as a huge majority association and now they are safe under the umbrella of SNEA. Com Nagavi, CS, Com S P Jagadale DS/ Hubli SSA and Com Munishekar our youngest CWC member (2008 Batch JTO) addressed the meeting. Com Narian Nandakumar, DS/ Kolar gave a brief report of the activities of Kolar SSA. DS/ BSNLEU and DS/ NFTE-BSNL also attended the function.
