CHRIST IS THE PERFECT OFFERING FOR SIN: Why? Because Apostle Paul said in Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? My friends, by Christ death, he freed us from the slavery of sin forever. His sacrifice transforms our lives and hearts and makes us clean on the inside. His sacrifice is infinitely more effective than animal sacrifices. Jesus came along in ST Matt. 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:14 because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. The Lord who declares the he is the way, the truth, and the life is the one who points the way to the narrow gate to eternal life.What does He mean? We find the answer in His cross and His challenge that we take up our cross. The cross is the narrow gate. It is the only way to know him, to live forever, and to live now in profound happiness. Eventually we must face the crisis of our helplessness to save ourselves. People, the cross was where our eternal life was won. And there is no other way for us to go but through Him and what He did for us. The only way to the Father is through Jesus Christ. Not good works, moral achievement, or human accomplishment. There are not many roads that lead to God; there is one road with a narrow gate (JESUS). People, when we water down the cross, we drown in our confusion and take others down with us.May the Word of God bless your soul and bring you new life.
