CHRIST LIVES IN ME The moment you believed on Christ as your personal savior something wonderful happened to you. The Apostle Paul tells us what happened. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature (a new spiritual species); the old things passed away; behold, new things have come (2 Corinthians 5:17). There was some drastic changes that took place in your life! You became a new person with a new nature, new motivation, new interests and new principles. God identifies you with Christ. This truth is especially seen in the Pauline epistles where, over a hundred times, the apostle uses such phrases like “in Christ,” “in the beloved,” “in Him,” “with Christ,” etc. These phrases draw attention to our new position “in Christ” by which a person is united and identified with Christ.
