CHRISTIAN LADIES RETREAT - CLR GBOKO 2014 The Christian Ladies Retreat (CLR) 2014 which was posponed will now hold as follows: Date: Wed. 3rd - Sun. 7th September, 2014. Theme: The Pursuit of a Godly Woman Venue: Peace House Camp, Km 21`Gboko-Aliade Road, Mbahyande – Mbayion, Gboko, Benue State. In the last Christian Ladies Retreat held here in Gboko, The Lord challenged us on the matter of discovering and fulfilling our mission in life. We saw that a vision begets a mission. It is the vision in the heart of a person that pushes him to have a mission for expressing it. A woman without a God-given vision and a resultant mission for living will only languish in life and waste away her capacity doing uncoordinated things. But when a woman discovers and pursues her mission, there is no limit to her being divinely useful at home, in the Church and in the nation no matter her age and social status. The pursuit of a Godly Woman is the burden God is impressing on our hearts for calling the Christian Ladies Retreat this year. The pursuit of a woman goes a long way to determine her direction in life. Whereas men appear to be the goal getters in the society, the woman is known for intensity, unyielding passion and importunity when she sets her heart to pursue a matter. Several women have left indelible marks in the purpose of God in their various generations and this is our own time to arise. But no woman will catch anything other than what she sets out to pursue. One great burden of this meeting is for God to reveal to us what is that crucial thing we must set all our energy to pursue and it will resolve all our conflicts and our heart cry. Come prepared to meet with God as we fellowship at His feet in this time of retreat. Your accommodation and feeding will be provided freely by the grace of God. Come praying and expecting.
