CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION!!!! (Or a little biased?) So, yeah... I have a friend who is a very devout fundamentalist who is slightly obsessed with all of the end times parts of the Bible. Before he went to see Left Behind last week, he posted a sort of evangelistic challenge on his wall for people to go see the life-changing film with anyone that matters to you in this life. (Thats a hell of a pre-qualified endorsement for film nobody had seen yet.) I chose not to comment. A few days later, someone else from his church asked how the movie was. The reply? Hands down the best movie weve ever seen. Im so thankful that they did it right. It will be amazing to see how God uses this film to save souls! Have you seen it? When another friend chimed in about all of the horrible reviews, his response was: Thats just good old Christian persecution by the liberal atheistic media. Its it really any surprise that Satan is trying to destroy this latest work of God? Weve been under attack since the day we were born! He was NOT kidding. QUESTION: When there is such a huge disparity between critic reviews (2% positive) and viewer reviews (78%), is it more likely that: a. The target audience might be a little biased b. 98% of professional film critics are biased c. Satan That said, Im going to go see the matinee today.
