CHRISTIAN WHEN WILL WE LEARN TO HELP ONE ANOTHER PHYSICALLY NOT SPIRITUALLY. e.g. Food, Money, shelter, clothes, and etc. please read all and all scriptures therein, you are free to share it in your timeline. The first disciples shared what they have amongst each other. read Acts 2:44-47 & Acts 4:32-35. Jesus stopped preaching and praying for people when he saw them hungry for food, and He started feeding them by multiplying the two loafs of bread and the two fishes. Read Matthew 14:13-21 & Mark 6:30-44. Jesus again taught us in the book of Matthew 7:7-10, that anyone who ask what He asks for he gets exactly of what he asked for from the father. Facts: - Jesus understood that those people we hungry for food not prayer at that moment. Peter and the other disciples tried to expel the crowd but Jesus refused. So how many of us also expelled people who are sent to ask help from us? instead we told them we will pray for you that God help you. The question is will God fall Manna from heaven for that person who came to you asking for food being hungry? - The first disciples understood that there are some folks (people) in their presence or in their churches who lacked physically, e.g. food, property, money and etc. Then they decided to sell what they owned so that the money must be brought to be able to feed those that lack as well in the church of God. Ananias and sapphire also sold their field so that the money may be brought to help in feeding and clothing others in the church. But today we see only one man or woman and his family being fed, and supported financially in the house of God ( pastors, I am one of pastors as well, Prophet, Evangelists, Apostles, teachers ) WHY? Brethren we have to stop to be spiritual even to the things that need physical help of money, food, shelter or clothing. Lets try to be like our Lord Jesus, and to be like the first disciples of Jesus who sold all they had in order to help those that were in need in the church of God. Lets go back to basics, the true gospel that Jesus introduced to us of caring for one another. We are our brothers keepers, we will be questioned on that day of judgement in heaven. Remember the the story of a rich man and Lazarus. God gave you to share as well, not only for selfish ambition. some of us when we help, we even go around singing a new song about it that will sell without a cent. everyone will know about it in church even in streets that you gave to who and who. To those that do give a physical help, lets learn also to give new things not old that we are no longer interested in. That I call throwing away to a fellow brethren, its better if you were to remove the one you are wearing and clothe someone with if that someone touched your heart when looking at him/her as Jonathan dis to David.
