CHRISTMAS - DAY 10 WHY DO WE CALL IT CHRISTMAS (DEVOTION FROM YOUVERSION BIBLE FOR CHRISTIANS) Matthew 22:36-39 NLT “Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” Jesus replied, “‘You must love the lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ Christmas is a time to celebrate Jesus, and a time to gather with our family and friends and give them gifts in the name of Jesus. Jesus has given us so much! Because we have been given so much, we are called to give in return and Jesus tells us to love our neighbors more than ourselves. These are such important things to remember at Christmas! So many of the things we use to decorate for and symbolize Christmas take use straight back to Jesus! Look at your tree, your stockings, your gifts and remember – God is with us. Jesus was born to restore our relationship with the Father and he loves us more than anything. This and only this matters and nothing else! Merry Christ’s Mass! (Or Christmas!) *This is my 10 days devotion that I got from a real Christian community. I hope I have imparted this message that God wants me to share to all off you. I may be miles apart but nothing and no one can stop my unbridled spirit to spread His words. God bless you all my beloved brethren!
