STARTER Your Car Gifts left in full view (don’t leave shopping in view) Keys left in the ignition (never leave keys in the ignition – even for a short period, when you are defrosting it or popping into a garage.) Mobile phone, wallets, purses etc left in your glove box (take all valuables with you) MAIN COURSE Your House Doors and windows not secured (ensure all doors and windows are locked and lock uPVC doors by pulling up the handle and turning the key) Presents displayed in full view of windows under the Christmas Tree Car keys and handbags conveniently placed (never leave car keys or handbags where they can be easily seen/ found) The unoccupied look (Are you going away? Consider using lights on timer switches, cancel milk and papers, ask a neighbour to keep an eye on your house and maybe park a car on your drive.)
