CHRISTMAS: Who is Jesus The Word became flesh, and dwelt among - TopicsExpress

CHRISTMAS: Who is Jesus The Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14 The prophetic voice spoke. John dipped his pen onto the gold of Gods promise and wrote The Word became flesh. The promise of God is a guarantee that cannot be broken! As lovely as the pageants and cute songs about Jesus birthday, Jesuss beginning did not have roots in Bethlehem 2,000 years ago. In the beginning was the word! Do you see that? Word? Word? In the beginning was the word. All things were envisioned, created, and now sustained by the word of HIS power. Anywhere you look on this earth there is a stamp that says “made in heaven.” In the Greek LOGOS, the Word. What are words? They are a collection of letters, to create pictures that convey meaning. Jesus is heavens translation of love. He is much more than a collection of letters but is the very essence of the character of God. Jesus translated the love language of heaven into the human language of compassion, so that we could see the Father. I spend a lot of time in other countries working on languages, studying the linguistics, preparing myself to work with translators to express God’s message. As challenging as that is at the natural level, imagine Gods task to translate the supernatural for natural man. Jesus did not come just to show what the Father does, but who the Father is. He came to translate eternity into humanity and, in sinless obedience, He gave His life as a ransom for fallen man, That’s what Christmas is all about. Through all of the cynicism, gift giving, and efforts to marginalize the name, Christ Jesus is still translating the Love of the Father supernaturally to a cold, unbelieving world.
