CHURCH LEADERS INTERVENE IN LAND ROW By The Beacon-Hope FM Church leaders have intervened in the row over the site of the proposed public university in Bomet County. The clerics said politicians in the region should hold talks and resolve the issue to allow construction to commence. Led by Africa Gospel Church Bishop Robert Langat they said the exchange of bitter words by the leaders cannot bring solution but only worsen the situation. Langat cautioned the leaders against taking hard-line positions saying doing so will farther delay construction of the university. Four MPs in the region want the university constructed in Bomet town while governor Isaac Rutto want it constructed in Sigor, Chepalungu sub county.
