CITIZEN Q: A woman in Glace Bay is angry that the dog that bit her is still alive. It took 200 stitches and emergency surgery to close the wound. She was at her brother’s place a couple of weeks ago, when his girlfriend’s dog attacked her. She says she and the girlfriend were having a disagreement when the dog latched on. Her brother claims there was a physical fight and the dog was simply protecting his owner. RCMP and the SPCA are investigating and no charges have been laid.
