CITY FACING HELL IN COURT! JUDGE ISHII REFUSES TO DISMISS THE MAJOR CLAIMS OF THE CASE. CITY FACING HUGE FINANCIAL LOSS IF MANAGERS ARE VICTORIOUS. JUDGE ISHII TIPS HIS HAND TOWARDS MANAGERS!! Attorney Jim Henderson of Sacramento-based Carroll, Burdick and McDonough, which represents the managers, pointed out that the ruling didn’t dismiss the major claims of the case. Henderson pointed to a section of the ruling in which Ishii states that there is sufficient evidence to show that the managers had “recognizable property interests” under the city’s rules and regulations and were entitled to due process.
