CITY GARDENS QUOTE OF THE DAY: Bill booked me a quick flight and I got there, and the big question was, what songs do we do? Do we do Descendents songs or do we do All songs? I wanted to do some All songs, just because I knew that the band would probably prefer to do more All songs, and I thought maybe I could do a few of those. We ended up doing 60/40, like 60% Descendents, 40% All. That was fine, except that some of those All songs I just had to learn on the fly. When they picked me up at the airport, I had requested that I get some lyrics from some of the other guys in the band, and I just basically looked at the lyrics and tried to memorize them as best as I could. I remembered all the All songs, and then forgot the lyrics to a Descendents song. Those receded further into my memory than the All songs. All had been playing for six or seven years, and they were my favorite band, so I knew their lyrics better than my own lyrics. -Milo
