CIVIL DEFENSE UPDATE: the flow front remains active and has advanced approximately 300 yards in a North Northeast direction in the last 24 hours. The active flow front is approximately 2.1 miles upslope of the Highway 130 and Pahoa Village Road intersection. Current activity does not pose an immediate threat to area communities and Civil Defense and Hawaiian Volcano Observatory personnel are maintaining close observations of flow activity. AUDIO LINK
