CIVIL MILITARY COOPERATION FOR EFFECTIVE INTERNAL SECURITY OPERATIONS As part of effort to find a lasting solution to insecurity in the country, a three day workshop on Civil-Military Cooperation was recently organized by the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA). The workshop was organized to streamline effective ways of deepening Civil-Military relationship for effective internal security operations in the country. Declaring the workshop open, The Special Guest of Honour, President Goodluck Jonathan in his speech stated the importance of the workshop as the first ever international workshop on Civil-Military Cooperation on how logical the support of the populace is critical to the status of the security operations and for the nation to remain as one entity.
