CKAP MINISTERIAL COLLEGE @ A GLANCE Ckap Ministerial College exist to train and equip Christian leaders for the work of ministry in Christ church and God’s Kingdom. The college is committed to the Bible as God’s Word. As a Leadership Institution, Ckap Ministerial College has as its primary purpose the preparation of believers for end-time ministries with broaden vision backed with practical leadership training and academic excellence. The college provides the biblical foundation, supervised leadership development and spiritual formation needed to equip these ministers for effective leadership either in established congregation or in specialized ministries at home and abroad. God’s plan through the Christian Church also obliged the college to prepare leaders for other type of ministries. To this end Ckap Ministerial College provides specialized training in such areas as, Christian Education, Christian Communication, Christian Studies, Christian Counseling and Marriage Therapy, Liturgy and Music, Mission and Evangelism, Youth Ministry and Diaconal Ministries. In its entire works, Ckap Ministerial College is devoted to the articulation, defense and propagation of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ within the college, the Church and the outside world. Qualification or entry requirements for CMC diploma program include grade II Teacher Certificate, Technical Certificate, passed School Certificate or GCE, WASC or NECO examination or its equivalent. CBC also considers professional and experienced church workers with good basic educational background. Four credits at O/Level, GCE or its equivalent in a sitting are required for the diploma course while the CMC one year certificate courses is opened to those without these qualifications. The course duration for the diploma in Leadership & Discipleship program is one academic year, while the higher diploma in Leadership & Biblical Studies is one year. Student must pass all courses and fulfill necessary requirements before graduation. All those who failed their courses do their re-sittings during every December series. We operate a course system of two semesters per session. The first semester begins from October of every year and ends in February while the second semester begins in March and ends in July for a long vacation of three months during which serious students do their summer studies to upgrade their credit levels. All courses taught shall be examined at the end of that semester and those who failed any course (es) must repeat such papers they failed because they shall not be allowed to graduate with a record of failures. Performance below the quality point average of 2.0 is unacceptable.
