CLARIFICATION ON ALLOCATION OF FUNDS TO GROUPS IN TRANCHES The decision of the Board to have a Ksh.100, 000 funding ceiling is based on the fact that most of the group proposals received by the Board were either lacking or provided inconsistent group’s savings. In order to ensure that disbursement of funds to beneficiaries is not delayed and prudence management of the same, the Board recommended that the amount to be disbursed to individual group should be in tranches of not more than a hundred thousand shillings (Ksh. 100,000) until such a time the constituencies have ascertained the actual group savings in each case. This does not mean groups will not be allocated funds as per the Regulations. The Amount recommended to groups will still be realized but in tranches. The Board is meeting with all Constituency committees where most of these issues will be discussed.
