CLARION CALL FOR ACTION ON THIS NAIJA DRAMA……. the recent news about the deal between Nigeria Minister of Petroleum Resources with some firms regarding private Jet leasing/chartering running into £1milion public fund monthly, and the new twist to the N19.7bn Police Equipment Fund said not to be in the record of the Ministry of Police Affairs to procure an helicopter and other equipment as claimed by the suspended Central Bank Governor (Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi), among other missing billions we keep hearing on a daily basis. One is tempt to begin to wonder if the much anticipated change will ever come. This is because those that suppose to be speaking and acting (The educated Nigerian citizens) are silence or carrying on as if they are from another country or planet altogether. Uhm! If we continue to carry on like this, very soon there wouldnt be any major roads, hospitals, standard airports, and Schools left in this country. Meanwhile, I sincerely wonder if there is a bottomless money pit located across Nigeria six geo political zones for our leaders to be stealing from. And even if there is one anyway, very soon the money will finish and our children not yet unborn will have to pay dearly for our collective actions and inactions with their tears and blood! If you like you can take all your children to Europe and America, but you can be rest assure that they will keep getting periodic reminders about their root and origin and how their parents mismanage the resources of one of the most blessed country in the world when they have opportunity to act differently, while others (Parents) that suppose to speak out against evil and injustice look other way!
