Some were his wives and his children. Others were children in the under-18 sense, but were actually individuals training to be terrorists. Still, others worked as support personnel. They were not innocent bystanders. They all believed in jihad--or they wouldnt be there. They were all committed to al Qaedas mission of killing Americans. 3)While Clinton was president, bin Laden bombed 2 U.S. embassies (killing 224, including 12 Americans) and attacked a U.S. warship (killing or injuring 44 sailors). There was ample reasons to take him out, prior to 9-11. 4) Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.
