CLOSURES FOR MEDICAL TRAINING - Outpatient clinics at Evans hospital will now be closed in the afternoon on the last Thursday of each month for staff medical training. Previously this routine training occurred at various times throughout the month depending on the clinic. For predictability, hospital leadership has now consolidated the training time. The Behavioral Health clinics and OB/GYN clinic only will be closed in the morning and open in the afternoon. The Woods SFCC pharmacy, Evans Main Hospital pharmacy, and hospital main laboratory will stay open with normal operating hours. Radiology will have half day appointment schedules to be completed by Noon. Diagnostic (Plain) X-rays will support walk-ins and ED cases only on these Thursday afternoons. We will offer full second shift appointment schedules for ultrasound, MRI, and CT. The EACH Emergency Department, including fast track for urgent care issues, remains open to meet urgent medical needs not met each morning and those that cannot wait until the next day. Remember beneficiaries can always make appointments online at Tricare online tricareonline as early as 3 p.m. for a next day appointment.
