CLUB GRADING: BIRMINGHAM AND SOLIHULL AREA SATURDAY 28th SEPTEMBER 2013 LODE HEATH SPORTS COLLEGE (MAIN HALL), LODE LANE, SOLIHULL B91 2HW 1pm- Introduction of panel of examiners Red stripe and Red belt grading 1.30pm- Red stripe and Red belts awarded White and Yellow belt grading 2.15pm- White and Yellow belts awarded Yellow- Brown belts arrive Seminar with special guest instructor (compulsory for Yellow- Brown belts, voluntary for all other members) 2.45pm- Orange-Jnr black belt grading Candidates split into groups according to grade. Examiner allocated to each group. 3.30pm- Orange belts-Jnr black belts awarded. GRADING FEE: Red stripe-Yellow belt £15 (in advance) Orange belt and above £20 (in advance) NB. Payments must be received before 9pm on Thursday 26th September SPECTATORS: £5 (pay on the door) WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IN ADVANCE: 1) Check your licence has not expired. You will not be permitted to grade without a licence. If it has expired, you need to give your licence (with renewal fee) to your instructor no less than 7 days before the grading. 2) Pay your grading fee to your instructor and collect your grading score sheet. 3) Fill in the relevant information on your grading score sheet prior to arriving at the grading. WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING ON THE DAY: 1) Your valid licence and grading score sheet. This should be handed in to your allocated examiner. 2) Your full club suit (t shirts are not permitted) in good condition. 3) Your current belt (where applicable) tied correctly. 4) Sparring kit (where applicable). It is likely that the guest instructor will require you to wear your sparring kit for some elements of their seminar.
