TEN WAYS TO BUILD DBC - Build DBC as a partner-in-service organization of ICMAB - Build DBC as a value based sustainable organization - Build DBC as an elite organization - Build DBC as a member owned organization - Build DBC as a knowledge networking organization - Build DBC as a sector specific professional capacity development organization - Build DBC as an organ of ICMAB for building talent capacity of students of ICMAB - Build DBC as an organ of ICMAB to build institutional capacity of SMPs - Build DBC as members sound health and sound mind organization - Build DBC as a professional and fellowship bonding organization among members and their families THE CHALLENGE AND OPPORTUNITIES CMA profession is a lifekife time profession. We are obligated to maintain to maintain IFAC mentioned four characteristics of CMA profession: (a) mastery of a particular intellectual skill, acquired by by training and educatrion, (b) acceptance of duties to society as a whole in addition to duties to the client or employer, (c) an outlook which is essentially objective, and (d) rendering personal services to a high standard of conduct and performance. As a member of DBC/ICMAB; we must have a lifelong desire to learn. The CMAs role dynamics are changing. The role of CMAs at present in activities like Enterprise decision support is 20%, in future it will be 40%, Internal control and risk management is 15%, in future it will be 25% and transaction processing is 65% and in future, it will be 35%. To cope up with the change process, we have to be continuous learner, no alternative. The incoming leaders of DBC 2015 must guide and support us in the right direction so that we shall be able to overcome global challenges imposed upon CMA profession :-) :-) .
