CNC Programmer / Draftperson Steel Central operates some of the latest technology in CNC Machines for processing steel plate and sections. We are currently seeking applicants to join our team on a Part-time/Casual basis for approximately 25 to 30 hours per week. As part of our Production team your key responsibilities will include, 2D drafting and developments Generating CNC programs via Sigmanest software Checking and quality sign off before production Assisting Sales with quotations and tendering Ideally you will have two to three years experience with AutoCAD and/or Sigmanest type sofware and a sound knowledge of basic drafting techniques. Background in the metals industry will be advantageous but not essential. This position will suit an enthusiastic person with a desire to succeed in a team environment.
