CNET printed a Review of the new Mac system released yesterday (Maverick 10.9, with the following HEADING: NO, OS X isnt free . . .. Wow such misleading info. I have owned Macs since 1984. Each of my annual Mac purchases came with a FREE OS. My recent MacPro came with a free Mountain (System 10.7) which I upgraded TO A FREE MOUNTAIN MOUNTAIN OS (10.8) today online in a jiffy to a FREE Mountain Lyon (System 10.8). Today upgraded a third time to a FREE Maverick (System 10.9). ALL UPGRADES WERE FREE OF CHARGE which is factually TRUE which is more than I can say for the the CNET grand-standing with their article which seemed to misled, misinform and attempt to down-play Mac technology which is light years ahead of PCs.
