CNRP supporters now understand the vision of their leaders and they are rally behind their leader stronger then ever. MY PERSONAL MESSAGE TO SAM RAINSY AND KEM SOKHA, DO NOT DISAPPOINT MILLIONS VOTERS; YOU ARE THE TRUE HOPE THAT THEY LONG SEARCHING. REMEMBER, THEY PUT YOU IN OFFICE; THEY CAN ALSO VOTE YOU OUT OF OFFICE AT NEXT ELECTION IF YOU DON’T DO YOUR JOB. CAMBODIAN PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THAT THEY HAVE POWER NOW. THEIR POWER IS IN THE VOTE. CPP did not give you the 55 seats; people voted you in the office. Don’t get twisted; you have every right to be in the parliamentary and now you have opportunity to make real change internally. CPP never wanted to give up anything from beginning until many situations were created by CNRP supporters. CPP had to deal with many situations from CNRP activities and they were under pressure to do something quickly to avoid being unplugged by their boss. Don’t let CPP take away your winning spirit or allow yourself to doubt each other. CNRP needed to start the celebration to gain the momentum of millions of Cambodian. Let the entire country have a taste of true democracy. Change is coming and CNRP is here to stay and to make real change. In order to make real change in Cambodian politic, leader must be very innovative and adapt to change quickly; I have seen CNRP leadership demonstrated last week and they have captured opportunity so quickly it shocked their own supporters but the truth was, it was well calculated action. This is what leadership is all about; it is not about popularity. In leadership, you cannot remain idle or stick with the same plan and expect different result. That would be insane leadership; you cannot remain idle to yesterday promises. Change is within us and we must adapt to change in order to survive. Now CNRP has two prongs approaches. CNRP did many activities externally and it was very affectively and they were able to bolster their way into the agreement that is a win win for the national interests of Cambodia. Now CNRP can utilize internal approaches to make real change. CNRP can continue to use externally power whenever they needed to utilize it. CNRP now have the leverage to use two prongs approaches and able to represent millions of Cambodian that voted for them. They have strong external power because they are supported by millions of Cambodian and all over the world especially in Cambodia. Talking about CNRP victory; we cannot avoid discussing to why CPP agreed to sign the agreement; they too also gained something from the agreement; it is not total lost for them either that is why CPP willing to negotiate and signed the agreement with CNRP. My hope that CNRP supporters can see things clearly, remain calm and stick together, do not left each other in the middle of the road otherwise it will be like the royal party. Here are the reasons why CPP agreed to sign the agreement: 1. It legitimizes the government to operate; it looks good in the eyes of world democracy; although they hated to give up some of the demands. 2. By giving CNRP some power and leverages to quiet the protests and reduced pressures from the world leaders and the internal power structure; it potentially creates chaos and un-trusted environment for CNRP leaders if they show the public that they give up something easily so that the supporters wonder what happened; this is the mind game played in the past. This is the game played with the royal group in the past. Do CNRP supporters fall into the trap by dividing themselves again? Only time will tell if CNRP knows how to play the game or not. Right now; I have seen some division already because of emotional thinker rather than critical thinker. I hope they realized that it is a mind game being played on them. 3. Reduced world attention on Cambodia’s situation, reduced the momentum of protests that could put the government at risk, reduced tension with angry protesters and the world was watching 7 CNRP MP was in jail; it doesn’t look good for the government. 4. Reduced pressure from Khmer Krom Group from further protests against VN and stray away from world discussion about Khmer land seeded to VN in 1949 by the France. This is hottest topic; it will open a can of worm that no one wants take on the issues. Cambodia’s government is struggling protecting the current border, let alone opens the discussion of Khmer Krom land. 5. Give legitimacy the current government and by sometimes to restructuring CPP future candidates/leadership. Buying time for Prime Minister Hun Sen to complete this term and positioning his people to take over in the future and stabilize many deals in the pipeline.
