CO of UTLA passes away JIRIBAM, September 20: Commanding Officer (CO) of United Tribal Liberation Army (UTLA) Haopu Max Singson, (30), son of Manga Singson of Phaituol village under Tousem sub-division in Tamenglong District has passed away on September 18 around 11.30 am from a prolonged illness, UTLA Information & Publicity George Simte told reporters on Friday. Stating that the outfit paid respect to the departed soul by giving gun salute on the funeral day, he said the party would address the grievances of the deceased’s bereaved family and pray for the departed soul to rest in peace.
