Reading this verse of scriptures again, I discover new truth we had neglected to apply and has resulted in the insecurity that has bedeviled our Nation for some time now. Simple truth that can save us a lot of heartaches, wasting of lives and funds. Late Fela Kuti sang “uniform na cloth, na tailor sew am“. Without the willingness and sacrifice of the men in our Nation‘s security agencies, the uniform is useless, therefore we need to learn to appreciate the men and women who daily lay down their lives in defence of the souivereignity of this Nation, especially the police, sss, army, navy, airforce, civil defence ETC. We owe them prayers and heartfelt appreciation. I love to relax by watching american movies, especially those that educate the public viewers about the dynamics of their security agencies, they do these to let them see why their forces must respected and shown love, you also see the leadership of the military on the behalf of the country visits the family of a dead soldier or agent and in burial ceremonies for the dead, you see them present the family with the National flag and you hear them say, “ please accept this flag as a token of appreciation from a grateful Nation“. Today, let us take time to pray and appreciate our Police force and other security agencies. Yes, I know there are bad eggs amongs them, that is a proof that there are still many bad eggs in our society, and the reason they are yet to overun us is beacuse the SECURITY AGENCIES are at the top of thier games. God bless NIGERIA and her security forces. Amen.
