CODE RED!! RESCUE ONLY!! WILL BE PTS THURSDAY!! Dolly – Boxer/American Bulldog (mix) Knox County HS – Mount Vernon, OH (bs) Ok everyone, this girl needs our help tonight! Dolly spent her young life chained to a tree. How long no one knows for sure so she has trust issues. Can anyone really blame her?? It is not her fault that she does not trust strangers. She was dealt a rough hand for the beginning of her life. Well Dolly was finally rescued and ended up at the Knox County Animal Shelter. She was at the shelter for a while and one of the nice ladies at the Knox County Humane Society offered to work with Dolly so she was transferred to that facility. Today a lady decided to approach Dolly in a big coat, hat and sunglasses (against this volunteer’s explicate warning) and when she knelt down, Dolly bit at her arm. She only caught this lady’s coat but now they want to get rid of Dolly. They desperately need a rescue to pull Dolly to save her life. The shelter will not allow her to be adopted so it will have to be a rescue that saves this girl. Please share with all your rescue contacts and, anyone that can save Dolly, call the shelter ASAP tomorrow. Dolly is only a little over a year old and very sweet with those that have gained her trust. She loves other dogs and even likes cats.
