COFFEE OF THE INCOHERENT - SANTIAGO RUSIÑOL The "Incoherentes" was a movement of late 19th founded by writer and Publisher Jules Lévy, in 1882, which, along with "The Nabis" or "The hydropathic" grouped the Bohemian artistic avant-garde at all Paris in cafes and cabarets of the Montmartre area and its surroundings in order to break the mold with the established art, language and spaces and forms of fun. You had to use humor, the public spectacle and contradict the established rules to try to lay the groundwork for what would be the most innovative of 20th-century art. Van Gogh, Renoir, André Derain, Matisse, Toulouse-Lautrec came together in these places of entertainment, and Degas among many others and there were also Picasso and two great Catalan painters, Ramon Casas and Santiago Rusiñol.
