COINCIDENCE or CONSEQUENCE? The Bible that teaches that God is the God of love is the same Bible that teaches that God is the God of justice. The person that sins God will surely punish - He is not a tolerant God that allows sin to go unpunished. It is evident also in the Bible that God pours His wrath upon nations that committed a national sin. Egypt, Babylon, Assyria were classic examples in the Bible that received the national judgment from God because of the idolatry of the nations and the corruption of their leaders. Could it be that the hand of God is upon us thats why were experiencing such calamities as a nation? Coincidence or Consequence? Has God forgotten His children in the Philippines? Christians, take heart! When God poured His wrath upon Egypt, He provided for them Goshen - a place of their protection. In the same way God gave us our Goshen to stay - the CHURCH through which God sends His provision, preservation, and protection. Dont leave Goshen, stay under His wings, in the will of God! (Psalm 91)
