COLD DARK STREET When the days are fading, and the nights carry on. When your dreams are drowning, and the nightmares grow strong. That’s when you’ll find your fears in the middle of the night on a cold dark street. When the hatred grows and all your hopes die. When you turn to your fear and the violence strikes. That’s when you feel you have nowhere to run and on a cold dark street you lose your life. When you hear those chilling screams from a child and the night seems to swallow you whole. When you try to run, but your feet won’t move Your blood runs hot, but your heart turns cold. When you feel you’re all alone on that cold dark street you lose your soul. When you feel that cold wind blowing in gather your courage, strength and hope.
