COLD FRONT SCHMALL-FRONT! We came. We saw. We conquered! -- We also bemoaned our fate, grumbled and cursed Aeolus, the Greek God of the Winds. That cold front ramped up Southernly flows to 22 m/p/h with greater gusto! Physics would tell you that a 22 to 23 mph in to your nose wind, and a travel speed of 22-23 on the road results in full inertia. Nevermind!-we are proudly called The 18-20 Grease Lightning Group! Today that Aeolus Greek Dude kept us focused; often and many youd hear echoes of Gaaapp to make sure we all stuck together like glue! Regardless, when Anthony and Oscar lead-- hillarity will overcome even the most focused individual! At Blackpoint we could not help but laugh at the number of Pelicans watching us cyclist cry our wings from our tough flight in! They had grounded themselves cuz the wind was nutty. - lol! Our 30+ bunch was proud to be led by Anthony, Oscar, and Sue who navigated the overwhelming force of nature with grace and charm. We made it to Blackpoint by 8:37! Our ride back?! That was Alouisiuss gift - sweet sweet sweet speed of 21+ with a full wind to our back! As always we did selfies and with a full measure of respect for the road we streamed into City Hall by 10 am.
