COLD NOW AND MORE COLD LATER SATURDAY FORECAST DISCUSSION: Welcome to your weekend everyone. The calendar still says November but the thermometer says January. Highs will stay in the 40s both today and Sunday - which is about 15° colder than average. Skies will be mostly sunny this afternoon and the wind will not be as strong as its been over the past few days. Clouds will come back on Sunday and there might even be a few sprinkles after sunset. Rain will be likely by Monday morning and showers are likely to persist throughout the day. A strong cold front will cross the area Monday night. This will bring an end to the rain but it will open the flood gates to some bitter cold air which we will have to deal with on Tuesday and Wednesday. How cold? How about 25-30 degrees colder than average! That means high temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday will stay in the mid 30s and overnight lows will drop way down into the 10s and 20s. Things will start to warm up a little by late next week but, on the whole, you should be prepared to shiver for quite a while. Have a great weekend. SATURDAY: Sunny Cold Breezy At Times Wind: West 5-15 mph HIGHS: 40° - 45° SATURDAY NIGHT: Partly Cloudy Cold Light Wind Wind: South 5 mph LOWS: 25° - 32° SUNDAY: A Bit Of Morning Sunshine Becoming Mostly Cloudy Sprinkles Possible After Dark Wind: South 5-10 mph HIGHS: 45°- 49°
