COLORADO FOLKS - URGENT - PLEASE READ AND SHARE - The dog is chained up at 4908 Foothills Dr, Fort Collins, Colorado 80526. BY JACKIE CLAITOR I have reached the final straw in my attempt to get this dog some help. For the past eight months I have been politely trying various avenues to get assistance from the owners, their landlords, Animal Control, the Fort Collins PD, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Department, the County Board of Commissioners and Mayor Karin Weitkunat. No one will do a damn thing except tell me to contact someone else, blame budget cuts or blow me off completely. Meanwhile, nine months have gone by where all I can see is this sight when I look out my window and I hear barking and crying constantly. This dog has been chained to the tree, 24 hours per day in all weather conditions with zero human interaction since they moved in last February. Last week temperatures dropped to below zero and it was still outside. I am passing this information on to people who will hopefully have better luck getting in help that I have been able to.
