COLUMBIA — Second-seeded Maple Hill edged out No. 4 Rensselaer 4-3 to win the Section II, Class C/D varsity girls tennis championship on Thursday at Columbia High School, according to an email from MH coach Lucas Ashby. Singles players from each team travel to the Section II individual tournament next week at a time and location to be determined.
