COLUMBUS, MS: Old man Patches is still at the shelter. We thought when we first posted Patches he was going to quickly find his home. He is an adorable, sweet, and dog-friendly older Beagle. Hes the perfect catch!! Although he did receive a few inquiries, nothing has panned out for Patches. We see it happen many times on social media when a regular dog with a regular story doesnt fair well in terms of exposure. Its the nature of how us humans work, were attracted to and share more often the dramatic stories. Patches doesnt have a dramatic story to tell you; he was found as a stray, his history is mostly unknown and he cant find a way to stick his head above the crowd. But Patches is anything but regular! Hes an extraordinary little guy that were not going to let down. Were going to see Patches through all the way until adoption. So please, share Patches story to help him land the home of his dreams.
