COME MEET Olive and Timmy TODAY at Vallejo PetCo from 12:30-3:30! These two cuties were strays rescued from the county shelter in Fairfield. Olive is a pint-sized 2+ year old Chihuahua; Timmy is a Rat Terrier mix, just four months old. Each is altered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for a forever family! Both are sweet as can be and get along beautifully with the resident dogs at their country foster home (a working ranch!), and with 4-H kiddos who visit weekly. The 4-Hers have socialized both dogs, especially Timmy, who was so scared in the shelter. Now hes outgoing and smiley! Olive is friendly and shy, and is a cuddler! HUGE thanks to their foster mama, Linda, who opened her home and heart to them a month ago, nursed them through kennel cough recovery, and has provided loads of TLC. Fostering saves lives!! Timmy and Olive know their names, and come when called. Olive sticks close to her foster mama; Timmy is an adventurous puppy who likes to explore. Olive is housebroken; Timmy is learning. Timmy needs a puppy-savvy home to continue all his training and help him grow into a trusting, confident dog.
