COME UP HIGHER 2013/14 AND BEYOND GLORY (SEE DEUT. 21:22 - 23; PSALM 24:1 - 10; ISA. 40:21 - 31; HAG. 2:5 - 9; ROM. 8:3 - 31; 1 COR. 15:20 - 57; 2 COR. 3:7 - 18; HEB. 2:6 - 14; REV. 1:4 - 18). After the glorious outing of the Super Golden Eaglets in the United Arab Emirates, Nigerian football is in for another round of Higher Celebration today Saturday November 16, at the U.J. Esuene Stadium, Calabar where the Super Eagles face Ethiopias Walya Antelopes in the last battle of the race to the Brazil 2014 World Cup. Coach Stephen Keshi and his boys to a very large extent had done 90 percent of the job, with the 2 - 1 first leg victory they recorded last month in Addis Ababa in the first leg open heaven. O Israel ! Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth. Sing to the LORD, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his Glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples...let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them. Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy; they will sing before the LORD, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his truth (Psalm 96:1 - 13)(NIV). The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to man. It is not the dead who praise the LORD, those who go down to silence; it is we who extol the LORD, both now and forevermore. Praise the LORD (Psalm 115:16 - 18)(NIV). Praise the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD (Psalm 150:1 - 6)(NIV). ...Raise the war cry, you nations, and be shattered ! Listen, all you distant lands. Prepare for battle, and be shattered ! Prepare for battle, and be shattered ! Devise your strategy, but it will be thwarted; propose your plan, but it will not stand, for God is with us (Isa. 8:4 - 10)(NIV). A SHOOT will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit. The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him - the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD - and he will delight in the fear of the LORD. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears; but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked. Righteousness will be his belt and faithfulness the sash around his waist... (Isa. 11:1 - 14)(NIV). ...Then will all your people be righteous and they will possess the land forever. They are the SHOOT I have planted, the work of my hands, for the display of my splendor. The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the LORD; in its time I will do this swiftly (Isa. 60:1 - 22)(NIV). JESUS THE SHOOT FROM THE STUMP OF JESSE IS THE WISDOM AND POWER OF GOD (PROV. 8:12 - 53; 1 COR. 1:18 - 31). Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests (Luke 2:13 - 14)(NIV). ...But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the Glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. Look, he said, I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the the right hand of God (Acts 7:1 - 56)(NIV). Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree. He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit (Gal. 3:13 - 14)(NIV). He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the Tree of Life, which is in the paradise of God...To him who overcomes and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations - He will rule them with an iron scepter; he will dash them to pieces like pottery - just as I have received authority from my FATHER. I will also give him the Morning Star (Rev. 2:7 - 28)(NIV)....The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever (Rev. 11:1 - 15)(NIV). ...The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes and threw them into the great winepress of Gods wrath. They were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press, rising as high as the horses bridles for a distance of 1, 600 STADIA (Rev. 14:6 - 20)(NIV). ...I, JESUS, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star (Rev. 22:1 - 16)(NIV). Shalom !
