COMEAU, MOORE, DALESSIO, MCKAY, PRYER, ROANTREE, HERBISON AND KIRKLAND SCORE BIG WINS AT BROCKVILLE It was a perfect night this past Wednesday at the kart track at The BOS and all 8 divisions were ready to tackle a fast racing surface. In the 1st year Box Stock class Bradon Comeau jumped out to the lead in the early stages of the 10 lap event and cruised on to his 3rd win in the last 4 races. Dylan Moore came home in 2nd while the winner from 2 weeks ago, Kyle Stewart, came home 3rd. In the 2nd year Box Stock class Brennan Moore was looking to get back on track since winning back on opening day on June 18. Moore took the lead early on and finally got some luck on his side as he scored win #2 of the year over Braden Leeder and Kalen Draper. The Rookie 1 division had a great battle as Branden Hudson paced the field at the start of the 15 lap event but Braxton Dalessio was able to take the lead away and pull away from the field. Jacob Herbison was on the charge in the late stages and was able to pull by Dalessio with just 5 laps to go. On the final lap Herbison slipped up in turn 1 allowing Dalessio to get by and go on to score his 3rd win in a row. Herbison settled for 2nd while Branden Hudson crossed in 3rd. Rookie 2 took to the track next and Michael McKay took the lead at the drop of the green flag. McKay held the field at bay running the extreme inside of the speedway while Trent Wallace made several attempts on the high side. Despite the efforts of Wallace McKay would hold on and lead all 15 laps for his first career win over Trent Wallace and Xavier Perrin completed the top 3. Sportsman 2 was on track next and Kobe Tallman paced the field in the early going. Christopher Pryer had one of the fastest karts on the race track and was able to get by Tallman for the top spot just before halfway. With no pressure from behind and clear race track in front of him Christopher Pryer would take him win #1 of the year over Tallman, and Tyler Morin Jarrett Roantree put on an absolute dominant performance in the 15 lap Jr. Restricted feature. Roantree had the fastest kart on the track and built up a full straight away lead on the rest of the field at the halfway point. On the white flag lap the caution would fly setting up a 1 lap shootout. On the restart Roantree was able to drive away from Evan Reynolds and Eric Castonguay to score and impressive victory while Reynolds and Castonguay rounded out the top 3. Tyler Reynolds led the field at the start of the 15 lap Stock Light feature go but was challenged repeatedly by Jesse Hudson. Hudson would get by for the top spot bringing Jacob Clancy and Jarret Herbison into the top 3 with him. Herbison won the night cap feature 2 weeks ago and was on the charge as he took 2nd from Clancy and then ran down Jesse Hudson. Herbison would make the winning move with 3 laps remaining and go on to claim back to back wins while Jacob Clancy and Jesse Hudson completed the top 3 at the finish. In Stock Heavy Dylan Kirkland took advantage of his pole starting position by racing out to a big lead. behind him Nathan Berry was in a battle of his own as the opening day winner battled Brian Clark, who also has a win this year, for the 2nd spot. With 2nd and 3rd battling hard Dylan Kirkland never looked back and scored his 2nd win of the year in dominant fashion. Nathan Berry came home 2nd and Brian Clark finished up 3rd. Next week all divisions will be back in action for a full program on Wednesday night. The green flag drops at 7pm.
