COMING SOON Marathi Vidyamandir BMM is in the process of opening Marathi Vidya Mandir in Chicago. This initiative is being taken with guidance from BMM. Bruhan Maharashtra Mandal (BMM) of North America initiated the “Marathi Shala” (Marathi School) project with a passion and commitment to teach Marathi language and culture. Since 1970, many Marathi Mandals were formed in various locations in North America. Many Mandals run Marathi schools based on the BMM Marathi Shala Curriculum. This program will offer 5 levels of Marathi study with emphasis on oral communication, reading and writing. This program will also cover other activities like Shloka chanting, Kavita reading, drawing and craft work.
