Palm Beach County has now stepped forward and said they will join Lee County in listening to their teachers and parents ... and will tell Tallahassee they want to Opt-Out of these Florida Standards (Common Core) standardized tests!!! Where does Marion County stand? This candidate for school board says, LETS JOIN THE DISCUSSION!! Voters, give me the honor of representing Marion County here and in Tallahassee!! We need change, not just a physical change, but a philosophical change that says, Lets get back to teaching our kids how to succeed, not setting them up for failure with some organizations ill-contrived standardized test ... Parents, public school parents ... Are you with me?? If so, I humbly ask for your vote August 26th ....
