India lives in her seven hundred thousand villages” - Mahatma Gandhi It was a fine cozy morning when we entered the dust covered village road of Meerut Known as Sikheda, I got so much exited to be a part of it going there meeting people, their life’s, both social and cultural more over the village life of India as we believe the India’s soul life’s in villages. The warmth of the welcome given by the village community and school authority filled our mind with happiness and nostalgia. When the program was going on each member of the community assemble there was getting more and more closer with us(Shashi Bala, Praneet Kaur, Renitaa Baruah, Meenakshi singh, and me)During the various sessions and interactions with the village people they clear that there simplicity and humbleness in not only in there looks, style but their minds also. I am feeling so glad that I got an opportunity to meet and know such a group of people who are holding their values, tradition, culture and heritage tightly even at the age of new trends and changes. When we were spending good time with those people, we missed our other friends. I taking this opportunity to express my gratitude’s towards Department of Museology, especially the people who took effort to arrange such a venture. When we were returning back to Delhi there were still few people waving saying bye by their hands towards the car, • Arya Sabu
