COMMUNITY PARTNER POST: Boy Scouts, Hoosier Trails Council Troop 526 I own a business downtown on 2nd st. Last night this young man very calmly came to my business and told me the lady 2 stores down had fallen and was laying in her business and could not get up. She had been lying there for over an hour. With help, we were able to get her up and call for help. This young man stayed the entire time, worried for her well being and was sincerely concerned. He would not take a ride home and offered the information that he was a boy scout, being very proud of that fact. And he should be...it paid off for him tonight. Teaching at the middle school, it is rare to find young men such as, Alex. I wanted to pass along this information. He was a hero last night for a 78 year old lady. We thank him and commend him for his quick action and calm and caring attitude. If there is more I can do, please let me know. Thank you for your time!!
