COMMUNITYS great, underplayed for a change finale -- in fact its consistent use of Daves Ants Marching -- always reminds me of Timberwolf Tracks, the local Norman high school cable access show produced and performed by members of Norman High. At some point, they used this song in their opening credits, which consisted of a montage of the various people involved throwing a t-shirt to each other in different locations. The end music was the soft, moremore serious acoustic version of John Mayers No Such Thing, to indicate the end of high school and travels beyond. Or, more likely both songs were used complete -- no editing -- to kill a total of 6-7 minutes out of a 30 minute newscast. Regardless, I dont like either song at all, but given this context, I do miss hearing them from time to time. Not as much as the time one group of kids just flat-out stole the MST3K sketch on women from HOBGOBLINS, but way to notch a small victory over me, 1990s.
