COMPARE ALL THINGS . The Lord did not forbid us from comparing among brethren; rather He forbade us from exalting ourselves among brethren and from offending anyone. There will always be comparison among brethren, even in the kingdom of God. For we need comparison to actually know our position with God in His kingdom. The reason there are people called “Least” in the kingdom of God is because there are people “greater or great” in the kingdom of God. . Everything in the kingdom of God must be compared with one thing or the other. The kingdom of God is a kingdom of competition, for all things must be compared with one another to prove the greater and the greatest. Even the kingdom of God itself was compared with other kingdoms; and the mustard seed which was least among all seeds, became the greatest of all trees (Marks 4:32). . There were people Jesus called “Blind and Fools” simply because they did not know which one was greater between the gold and the temple, or between the gifts and the altar. As it is written, “You fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifies the gold... You fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifies the gift?” [[Matthew 23:17, 19]]. They were blind and fools; not because they did not know what was good, but because they did not know which among the good things was greater than the other. . Let us not be called blind or fools for that same reason; so let us always assess between things and between people in the kingdom of God, to know which or who is greater; for that is also wisdom. • I have compared Love with Holiness, with faith and hope: And the greatest of these is Love (1 Corinthians 13:13) • I have compared all the commandments of God, and the greatest commandment is Love. • I have compared scriptures with scriptures, and the greatest scriptures are those which the Lord Jesus spoke directly with His mouth and those revealed from heaven like the Book of Revelation. • I have compared ministries with ministries, and the greatest ministry is the ministry of the Word and Prayers. Ministry of Singing or praises cannot be greater the ministry of Prayer. • I have compared sacrifices with sacrifices, and the greatest sacrifice is the one Jesus made on the Cross and obedience. . When you know which among things is greatest, and then you can know where to invest your time and resources more. That is wisdom. When the Holy Spirit teaches, He compares spiritual things with spiritual (1 Corinthians 2:13). . Among all men, Jesus is the greatest. So we should give more heed to Him than to any other man of God. . Look at this comparison: “The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here. The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.” [[Matthew 12:41-42]] Now hear this: If Group-A repented by the preaching of a lesser minister of God called Mr. A; but Group-B did not repent even with the preaching of a greater minister of God called Mr. B; then more condemnation will come on Group-B because more miracle and more wisdom of God was demonstrated before them, than was required to get Group-A into repentance. For whom much is given, much will be required. . Therefore, more demonstration of miracles and more demonstration of wisdom to you mean severity in Judgment or more requirements to those for whom the demonstration was given. As it is written, “For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increases knowledge increases sorrow” [[Ecclesiastes 1:18]]
