COMPETITIVE FORUM opens Wednesday- THESE are the things that truly matter/make a difference. - 34 + Countries participating. PLANNING and Sustainable Development Minister Dr Bhoe Tewarie has announced that at least 34 countries are expected to participate in next week’s America Competitiveness Forum in Trinidad and Tobago. He said: “This forum will consist of three parts. First will be an actual forum of engagement on issues related to business competitiveness and innovation. The first day is going to be focused on private sector participants. It will deal with issues and challenges and opportunities of business development and business collaboration on the role of innovation and role of imaginative intervention in fostering business growth and development.” Tewarie said the second and third parts would consist of a range of panels including a number of experts from around the world, including government ministers from the hemisphere. “They are involved in a number of areas including panels on financing business investment and growth energy competitiveness and growth, the role of creativity innovation, research in business development and competitiveness,” he said. Tewarie said several young entrepreneurs would engage in a panel discussion on the service industry and vision in education.
