COMPLAINT CELL BEING SETUP IN HEALTH DEPARTMENT-JAM MEHTAB HUSSAIN DAHAR Karachi. December 04: Provincial Minister for Health Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that a complaint cell is being setup in Health Department to redress the issues of the patients and a Committee is also formed to resolve the problems of the doctors/ paramedical staff including nurses. This he said while talking to a delegation of Sindh Health Employees Action Committee here in his office on Thursday. He said that the formed committee would prepare a working paper within 10 days and the complaint cell would also work round the clock. Health Minister was of the opinion that he would fight for the rights of the employees of the health department if their working was improved and there would be no need of the strikes or agitation. He asked them to improve the services to the patients and their demands would also be considered. Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar added ‘Conditions of the residential areas in the premises of government hospitals will be made better and there was a dire need to educate and create awareness among the people of Thar regarding health issues, while ghost and absent doctors had been issued Show Cause Notices.
