COMPLAINT LETTER (in which I avoid mentioning that the driver in question had a shaved head but maybe that should have been my tip off): I was a regular LYFT user. Loved it. Until a terrible incident with an obviously disturbed driver. Late on NOV 15, 2014, KRISTIE accepted my pickup at approx. 11:30 PM in Santa Monica. She came close to my location (Bergamot Station Art Galleries, 2525 Michigan Ave, Santa Monica) - close enough for me to see her car a block away. She phoned and I explained that I could see her car and explained that she needed to drive another block further to meet me. She then said What are you doing out so late down there? This was weird but I said my wife and I were leaving a party. You sound scary she said and hung up. Then she cancelled the ride and drove away (11:41 PM text told me this was so and said to submit a new request). I submitted a new request. KRISTIE accepted my request but I watched on the app as her car drove away. She kept driving. I realized that I would have to cancel HER and that the system would record me canceling her ride instead of her leaving. I cancelled that request, and then got another LYFT ride, which was fine. If KRISTIE is scared of LYFT riders at night she should drive during the day. I have taken UBER exclusively since this incident. My battery was low, my wife was tired and I was dealing with an immature nut-case. I would love to speak to someone at LYFT to learn how a nut like KRISTIE could have gotten hired and stayed employed by your company before I use your service again. Please contact me at your convenience, I like LYFT but I cannot risk encountering any more KRISTIEs in this lifetime.
